An Introduction to the 2025 Nutrition and Obesity Disease State Network

The Nutrition and Obesity Disease State Network (DSN) is a group of AACE members committed to advancing the care of patients with obesity and nutrition-related disorders.

Our mission is to provide timely, evidence-based information and resources to the broader AACE community to support optimal care and outcomes for individuals affected by obesity and metabolic disease. We do this by developing and promoting educational materials such as podcasts, slide sets, and curated clinical tools through the Nutrition and Obesity DSN webpage.

Members of our DSN also serve as subject matter experts, contributing to national guidelines, participating in collaborative efforts with partner organizations, and supporting the development of relevant content for AACE’s educational programming—including the obesity and nutrition sessions at the AACE Annual Meeting.

The Nutrition and Obesity DSN is led by a chair, vice chair, and leaders of dedicated workgroups focusing on scientific content, national meetings, and digital education. We actively welcome the involvement of any AACE member with an interest in obesity medicine, nutrition, or metabolic health—regardless of specialty or experience level.

Your voice and expertise can make a difference. Join our AACE Nutrition and Obesity Disease State Network to help shape the conversation around nutrition and obesity and improve care for patients everywhere.
