Anupam Kotwal, MBBS, MSc, FRCP, FACE
Dr. Kotwal is Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the Thyroid Tumor Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His expertise in endocrinology is in the management of thyroid disorders, both benign and malignant. He is an interventional endocrinologist who performs Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of benign thyroid nodules and whose research focuses on the intersection of thyroid dysfunction, thyroid cancer, and immunology. Dr. Kotwal has published 60 peer-reviewed articles and contributed chapters to leading medicine textbooks. He has also served AACE in numerous capacities including Vice-Chair of the Thyroid Disease State Network, the CME Accreditation Subcommittee, and the 2026 Annual Meeting Scientific Program Committee.
