Diabetes Center of Excellence (CoE) designation

The American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) announced the launch of its Diabetes Center of Excellence (CoE) designation, a new international recognition program for non-US based healthcare organizations demonstrating leadership, measurable outcomes, and excellence in diabetes care.

The AACE Diabetes CoE program is designed to recognize institutions that operationalize evidence-based clinical guidance, sustain multidisciplinary leadership, and implement structured quality improvement approaches that support continuous performance and outcomes advancement.

"Diabetes care requires more than expertise—it requires systems that consistently deliver evidence-based care and measurable outcomes," said Elizabeth Lepkowski, MATD, Chief Learning and Quality Officer at AACE. "The AACE Diabetes Center of Excellence designation is intended to identify and elevate organizations committed to ongoing improvement and excellence in diabetes care."
