Dear AACE Community,
As we move into October, I am encouraged by the progress of our recent activities and the opportunities ahead. September was filled with important connections and meaningful collaborations, and I am pleased to share a recap of those highlights along with a look forward to October.
Looking Back: September Highlights
ASAE CEO Conclave, Las Vegas, NV (September 4–7): It was an honor to join fellow association leaders at the ASAE CEO Conclave, an exclusive gathering focused on leadership, governance, and innovation. The program sparked meaningful discussions on strategy, collaboration, and leadership that will help inform AACE’s path forward.
American Thyroid Association (ATA) Annual Meeting, Phoenix, AZ (September 9–13): The ATA Annual Meeting brought together the world’s largest community of thyroid specialists and highlighted the latest advances in thyroid disease management. The exchange of ideas, clinical insights, and research at this meeting was inspiring, and I left with a renewed appreciation for the impact of collaboration in advancing thyroid care worldwide.
CMRE International Symposium In Diabetes, Delhi, India (September 26–28): AACE President Elect Dr. Dace Trence and I were honored to participate in the 12th CMRE International Symposium in Diabetes, a premier global gathering in diabetes care. The first two days of the conference were held virtually, followed by an in-person program on the third day. Dr. Trence delivered the presentation The Rise of Dual and Triple Agonists: Mechanistic Leap or Hype? which sparked a thoughtful discussion and a lively Q&A.

Looking Ahead: October Engagements
Cleveland Clinic Intensive Review of Endocrinology & Metabolism, Cleveland, OH (October 3–5): This month, AACE will join the Cleveland Clinic at their Intensive Review of Endocrinology & Metabolism, held at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center in Cleveland. Recognized as one of the premier board review courses in endocrinology, the program delivers a comprehensive update for endocrinologists, fellows, and health care professionals. For those unable to attend in person, the course is also available to livestream, extending access to learners around the world and reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing endocrine education. AACE Community members can also receive $200 off registration. Visit www.ccfcme.org/EndoReview and enter promo code AACE at checkout.
AACE Board Meeting, Chicago, IL (October 9–12): Later this month, I will join AACE President Dr. Scott Isaacs, along with our Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Executive Leadership Team, and CAP partners in Chicago. As we approach our three-day meeting, I'm looking forward to a dynamic agenda and the meaningful conversations ahead. Together, we will continue strengthening our organization and advancing our shared goals.
AACE Health Care Advocacy Webinar Series (Oct. 16 and Oct. 22): Last month, we launched our complimentary 4-part live health care advocacy webinar series. The third webinar will take place on Oct. 16 with Dr. Ricardo Correa, who will present how to influence policy within your own institutions. Next on Oct. 22, Dr. Matthew Faiman will discuss telemedicine policy trends, access, and implementation into daily practice. If you missed the first two webinars, you could still register and access on-demand content post live date. Register now to help shape the future of endocrine care.
This month’s activities open the door to new opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and innovation. Thank you for being an important part of our community and for your continued commitment to advancing endocrine health.
Thank you,
