The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) and the Council of Medical Specialty Societies (CMSS) is designed to develop a cadre of leaders who can drive the implementation of effective strategies to raise awareness of diagnosis in medicine; support diagnostic excellence, including diagnostic safety, quality, and equity; and reduce diagnostic errors at the national level. The NAM Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence call for application is now open.
This one-year, part-time remote leadership development opportunity for mid-career professionals includes mentorship, a $35,000 grant, and an additional $5,000 domestic travel funds. Become part of the growing cadre of national leaders to advance diagnostic excellence and improve health for all!
This collaborative program between the NAM and CMSS is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, with additional support from The John A. Hartford Foundation.
Applicant webinars will be held on 1/31, and 2/31, and session recordings will be available on the program website. Applications are due at 3pm EST on March 1, 2024.
