Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to: 

  • Recognize the clinical presentations and diagnostic challenges associated with growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in pediatric and adult populations, including appropriate patient selection for testing and interpretation of GH stimulation and IGF-1 results. 
  • Apply evidence-based strategies for individualized growth hormone replacement therapy, including selection and monitoring of daily and long-acting formulations based on patient characteristics, treatment goals, adherence and satisfaction data, and long-term safety considerations.  
  • Develop comprehensive longitudinal management plans for patients with GHD through case-based application of monitoring strategies, transition-of-care planning, management of comorbidities and adverse effects, and patient-centered approaches to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life. 
Target Audience

The primary target audience for this program is endocrinologists and the endocrine care team, including nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and diabetologists.
