Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the clinical features and diagnostic challenges associated with acromegaly, including delayed presentation, overlapping comorbidities, and complexities in the interpretation of GH and IGF-1 biomarkers.
- Apply evidence-based strategies for individualized treatment selection and sequencing in acromegaly, including combination and sequential escalation approaches, and emerging therapeutic options, based on tumor characteristics, patient-specific factors, and evolving clinical evidence.
- Develop comprehensive long-term management plans for patients with acromegaly through case-based application of multidisciplinary care approaches, monitoring comorbidities, and integrating guideline-based recommendations into clinical practice.
The primary target audience for this program is endocrinologists and the endocrine care team, including nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and diabetologists.
