Osteoporosis and osteopenia are chronic conditions that significantly increase the risk of fractures both in the United States and globally. Effective management requires healthcare professionals to understand bone metabolism and the physiological changes that contribute to bone loss. Recognizing these conditions as chronic diseases is essential for identifying risk factors early and initiating timely interventions to prevent fractures and related disabilities. This program is designed to provide participants with current and emerging treatment options to improve patient outcomes in bone health.
