Guidelines for Nomination of AACE Officers

The AACE Nominating Committee encourages you to consider submitting the name of an AACE member who you feel may be a good candidate for the Officer positions of President Elect, Treasurer and Secretary (Attributes and Background of an Officer & Bylaws Eligibility for Officers).

Please confirm that they are willing to make the commitment to serve (Duties and Responsibilities for Officers) and submit their name and letter of recommendation to [email protected].

Required Information/Material

The nominating letter should include comments about why you feel the candidate demonstrates the ability, experience, commitment, and collegiality to represent the needs and concerns of our members and their patients and to continue the successes that AACE has achieved.

The candidate will be contacted for their CV, a short statement about why they want to be an Officer, what contributions they feel they will bring as an Officer, their vision for AACE, among others, as required by the Nominating Committee.

  • Officer nomination letters must be from an AACE member not currently serving on the Executive Committee or Nominating Committee.
  • An AACE member can only submit one letter of nomination per position (e.g., one nomination letter per Officer position).
  • Once the nomination is confirmed, it will be final.  

Self Nomination

In the event you are personally interested in serving as an Officer, you may submit your name to [email protected], along with one recommendation letter as outlined under "Required Information/Material" .

All nominees should be submitted not later than August 29, 2024.
