AACE Attended the 11th International Symposium in Diabetes

From September 20-22, 2024, we participated in the 11th International Symposium in Diabetes, held virtually and in-person in India. This prestigious event, organized by the Consortium for Medical Research & Education (CMRE) in partnership with AASD and DIPSI, brought together leading experts, researchers, and clinicians from around the world to discuss and share the latest advancements in diabetes care, research, and management. I had the honor of delivering a welcome message to all attendees and two of our distinguished AACE members presented. Monica Agarwal, MD, FACE, MEHP, DABOM, discussed Management of Diabesity – From Mono to Dual to Triple Agonists, highlighting therapies for addressing obesity in people with diabetes. Dace L. Trence, MD, MACE, spoke on What’s Going to be New in Diabetes Management for 2025, featuring innovative treatments and technologies set to shape the future of diabetes care. Both presentations were well received and showcased AACE’s thought leadership on the global stage.

Also, I would like to announce our new AACE APAC Advisory Board that is tasked to assist AACE in expanding our presence in the Asia Pacific Region. The board members include:

  • Dr. Shashank Joshi – Chair
  • Dr. Rajeev Chawla
