Meet Dr. Claudia Guillen Lopez, the 2026-2027 AACE Fellow-in-Training Board of Directors Representative

Claudia Guillen Lopez, MD, completed medical school in Mexico and an Internal Medicine residency training at Loyola MacNeal Hospital in Chicago. She is currently a first-year fellow in Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine and the incoming Chief Fellow. She is deeply committed to professional society inclusion, mentorship, and advocacy for fellows from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about advancing evidence-based education, clinical excellence, and meaningful trainee engagement through service and leadership within AACE.
