Technology Project Manager

This position is responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by managing projects associated to and in the Technology Operations and Digital Solutions department. The Technology Project Manager will also plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up projects and tasks in AACE project management system (Wrike).
  • Manage timelines in project management system.
  • Create and provide agendas, take notes, and action items for meetings.
  • Follow up on action items and next steps
  • Manage/maintain department file structure and document retention polocies.
  • Work with other department PMs in order to maintain best practices for ticket request and projects.
  • General QC spot check of AACE systems.
  • Requesting, receiving, routing SOWs/quotes.
  • Assist in training AACE staff on technology systems such as:
    • Outlook – email and calendar
    • Teams - staff/venor collaboration tool
    • File management (Teams and SharePoint)
    • Wrike - project management system
    • RingCentral – digital phone and video conference
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manage numerous projects at any one time.
  • Assist in the development of plan presentations, incorporating use of graphic and written materials.
  • Works proactively to anticipate issues and solve problems
  • Keeps team members informed via meeting recaps, emails, etc.

Job Specifications: College degree and/or equivalent work-related experience preferred. Must be able to multitask, be a great communicator, enjoy and understand creative collaboration, have a great command of detail and follow-up and be able to express their point of view persuasively – both in person and in writing. Will work in close collaboration with others on the team as well as those within the association. Excellent interpersonal skills, attitude, professional appearance and demeanor are necessary.   Must be willing to travel and work overtime if necessary; have the ability to endure long hours of sitting, standing and/or walking; lifting and carrying of boxes of meeting materials within weight limits to be defined.
