Included in the A Comprehensive Look at the Disease of Obesity Bundle
Many practioners often perceive obesity as a lifestyle rather than a medical issue. Therefore, healthcare practioners lack knowledge of recently approved pharmacologic treatment options for obesity as well as advances in surgical interventions.
This course consists of four modules that will assist clinicians with discussing practical approaches to broaching the topic of obesity and helping patients implement lifestyle interventions. Also, it will provide healthcare practioners with details on discussing pharmacologic treatment options and bariatric surgery with patients.
