Tamara Vokes, MD, CCD
Tamara Vokes, MD, CCD, is a professor in the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Chicago and the director of Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone disease clinic. Dr. Vokes maintains a clinical practice in the field of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and an active research program in osteoporosis and treatment of hypoparathyroidism. Dr. Vokes is a nationally known lecturer on vertebral fractures, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and has multiple publications including book chapters in Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine and articles in Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Nature Endocrinology, Osteoporosis International, JAMA, Medical Physics, American journal of Medical Genetics, The Endocrinologist, Journal of Clinical Densitometry and others.
Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to:

- Describe how to incorporate the information about vertebral fractures into clinical care
